Cammerata Customs Homes is a business that had its beginnings years ago when the owner/operator, Richard, as a young man demonstrated a passionate interest in home construction. He has gone from creating elaborate scale models to constructing quality homes now being enjoyed by his clients.

The first step was to learn about the business through formal education. He obtained a bachelors degree in Construction Management from Penn State. (Graduated Magna Cum Laude).This provided the foundation for his career and a way to learn the fundamentals of the business without being influenced by the techniques of any particular construction company.

This was followed by gaining practical experience as a site manager for a rapidly growing local developer. He established good working relationships with a number of subcontractors and learned about the good and the bad of the residential construction business.

It did not take long for him to realize that he was experiencing a lack of satisfaction in producing look alike tract housing. He established Cammerata Custom Homes to provide high quality custom or semi-custom homes to those that demand it.
